In Nazi Germany, children were encouraged to 'rat' on other kids, to rat on their neighbors, to rat on their parents by informing government officials of any questionable comments they made.
"Superman" is here encouraging young people to take the initiative upon themselves to speak up for the underdog, to remind the offender that in America, all people have the freedom, within the law, to follow their conscience and to be proud of who they are and where they're from.
May every AMERICAN stand proudly for this national ideal.
