Reaching Out
There are far too many people who weep at the Christmas season because of memories of what this time used to be -- how it was filled with so much warmth and love and sweet anticipation of reunions -- and now it brings back memories of those lovely days spent with family and friends along with the reality of today's emptiness and sadness because they are gone.
I would like to remind you that there are people, for whatever reason, who are not looking forward to Christmas. Some people are not surrounded by large wonderful families (they used to be but life has happened and death has claimed its toll).
Besides those who are besieged by loneliness and overcome with great sadness when they remember the loved ones who are not with them any longer, there are also those who wrestle with health problems or financial issues.
Please share to evidence your support for those who weep at this time of joy.
