Fear

When attacked by a major physical problem, a young parent of young children can become fearful, not only for themselves but also for the sweet little ones who depend upon that parent.  When fear assails, every believer must remember the WORD of the LORD in the matter:

GOD has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind    II Timothy 1:7

Has Life hurled a problem your way that has unsettled you to the core of your being?  If so, ponder the verse above and consider the ramifications of where it places you in the scheme of God's presence with you and His power at work within you…

I understand your fear and want to remind you that fear is a natural consequence of what you’ve been through, but you are not reliant on natural emotions which can be good or bad, depending on the circumstances. 

NO! 

You are reliant upon the HOLY SPIRIT of the LIVING GOD who lives within you to give you HIS “PEACE that passes understanding, to keep your heart and your mind in CHRIST JESUS.”

GOD has shielded you from the onslaught of the enemy—the one who “comes to steal, kill, and destroy.”  That evil one sees the good that you do and he sees how you diminish his kingdom by the faithfulness of your life and witness…

BUT GOD’S HEDGE AROUND YOU IS STRONG!  HE HAS DEFENDED YOU AND WILL CONTINUE TO DEFEND YOU AGAINST THE SLINGS AND ARROWS THAT ARE BEING HURLED AT YOU--AT ALL GOD’S PEOPLE!

FAITH IS THE ANECDOTE FOR FEAR!  LET YOUR FAITH ARISE AND DRIVE YOUR FEAR AWAY.

JESUS LOVES YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN MORE THAN YOU DO—HE HAS ALLOWED YOU TO BE A WONDERFUL MOTHER WHO FOCUSES HER ENERGY ON DEVELOPING YOUR CHILDREN IN THE INNER SELF AND IN THE REFINING OF THE GIFTS HE HAS GIVEN TO THEM—JESUS WILL GIVE YOU A LONG, HEALTHY, HAPPY, BLESSED LIFE TO LIVE WITH THEM.  HE WILL ALLOW YOU TO WATCH YOUR BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN GROW INTO BEAUTIFUL, FULFILLED, AMAZING SERVENTS OF GOD.

YOU HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR, for the JESUS YOU LOVE AND SERVE IS GREATER THAN EVERY CHALLENGE YOU FACE!

As the WORD states so plainly, “GREATER IS HE WHO IS IN YOU THAN he who is in the world.”

YOU ARE SAFE AND SECURE IN THE HOLLOW OF THE LORD’S HAND.

Instead of fearing because of what happened, remind yourself that JESUS has shielded you from the enemy’s attacks in the past…AND JESUS WILL CONTINUE TO SHIELD YOU IN THE PRESENT AND IN THE FUTURE!

Believers add our faith to yours that ALL IS WELL, that you are safe and well and whole and healthy, and by the “same power that raised JESUS from the dead and lives in you,” Romans 8:11, you shall remain “safe and well and whole and healthy!

Because of JESUS, YOU ARE “MORE THAN A CONQUEROR.”

 

Just as you have conquered every time the evil one has assailed…YOU HAVE CONQUERED THIS EPISODE because JESUS IS STILL DEFENDING YOU FROM EVERY ASSAULT OF THE evil one!

You are loved, and many are praying, believing, trusting JESUS that HIS LOVE AND POWER surround you and flow through you and DEFEND YOU!
