Monday's Miracle
Many years ago, when I was newly saved and attending a small Pentecostal church in my hometown, I was asked to teach a vacation BIBLE School class. I gladly agreed to do so.
One of the precious little children in my room was a from a Greek Orthodox family.
My curiosity got the best of me. I knew enough about Greed Orthodox believers to know that they would not send their children to a Pentecostal vacation BIBLE School.
The teacher I asked told me a remarkable story:
The child's grandmother was on her death bed, in the final stages of cancer that she had been battling.
The family adored their grandmother and in desperation, they hired an ambulance to drive her 30 miles from her home to a Kathryn Kuhlman service in Pittsburgh.
Miss Kuhlman had a remarkable healing ministry. Not only were people healed of every manner of affliction at her services, but it is said that those who were simply walking by the Presbyterian Church where her services were held every Thursday, were often healed, too.
The grandmother in question was among those who were healed and restored to the bosom of her family.
The family was ever thankful for the miracle that occurred in response to the Pentecostal faith richly in evidence at Kathryn Kuhlman services, so their child attended vacation BIBLE School at a local Pentecostal Church, although they never left their own Greek Orthodox Church.
