Something to Think About
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has called the proposal of building a wall on the southern border of the United States immoral.
She has also expounded upon the moral responsibility this nation has to illegal immigrant children. This is from a woman who claims to be a practicing Catholic, yet her entire political career has been as an advocate and supporter of killing innocent babies. How immoral is infanticide, and what moral obligation do we have to the human life of American babies in the womb?
Mrs. Pelosi seems able to divorce herself from the inconsistencies of her profession of faith and her political voting record, but voters should carefully assess her ability to claim adherence to the Christ who says, "If any should hurt one of these little ones, it were better for him that a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea."
Euthanasia and doctor assisted suicide are also slowly beginning to become acceptable not just in foreign countries, but here in the United States. It is now legal in Washington state, Oregon, Colorado, Hawaii, Vermont, Montana, the District of Columbia, and California.
The Netherlands and Canada have now made it legal to euthanize children, and in Belgium a 64 year old woman was assisted by a doctor to kill herself because she was depressed.
These turns of events should be disconcerting to the unbeliever who has placed his hope in the goodness of man, but to the believer they are further evidence of the veracity of the WORD of GOD that admonishes, "When you see these things come to pass, look up and lift up your head, for your redemption draws near"
