State of the Union Comments

State of the Union Comments by Bill Wilson
President Trump delivered an inspiring State of the Union speech. He painted a beautiful picture of America that we rarely get told by the media.
He cited that "Under the last administration, more than 10 million people were added to the food stamp rolls. Under my administration, 7 million Americans have come off food stamps, and 10 million people have been lifted off of welfare.
In eight years under the last administration, over 300,000 working-age people dropped out of the workforce. In just three years of my administration, 3.5 million people - working-age people - have joined the workforce."
These statistics are true. I have been reporting them in years past. But the disrespect by the opposition was awful.
The environment of Congress speaks volumes when a president can cite statistic after statistic about the improvements in the economy, the job outlook for ALL Americans, and a strong affirmation of the American Republic, only to be met with the sour, disgusted looks, actions, and mean-spirited words of his opposition party.
The Democratic Party, which has joined with the news media and the deep state intelligence community to overthrow this elected president, is showing not only its disdain for the president, but also for hard-working Americans-the little guys. What true countryman can hear these wonderful accomplishments about our country and behave as if they were the worst thing that could happen?
It is, quite frankly, un-American. It is because these people want to "remake" America into a socialist nation.
The President said it in very strong terms, using healthcare as an example: "One hundred thirty-two lawmakers in this room have endorsed legislation to impose a socialist takeover of our healthcare system, wiping out the private health insurance plans of 180 million very happy Americans.
"To those watching at home tonight, I want you to know: We will never let socialism destroy American healthcare."
Democrats also disagree about the sanctity of life-something guaranteed by the Declaration of Independence. The President said, "Whether we are Republican, Democrat, or independent, surely we must all agree that every human life is a sacred gift from God."
But no. Not the Democrats in Congress.
If you needed any more proof that the Democratic Party leadership does not agree with the exceptional American ideal, the robust job creation, the solidification of power to the people through prosperity and a strong middle class, look at the actions of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. She began to rip up the President's speech as he was saying "God Bless America."
She said she did it because "It was such a dirty speech."
Every American should understand what is going on here. Similar to what Apostle Paul wrote in Titus 1:10-16, "For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers...They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate."
Remember this State of the Union Address. Remember Nancy Pelosi's despicable behavior. Remember this day.
Remember to vote in November.
