Report about President Trump
Fox News is reporting that President Trump and his team are setting up their political headquarters in Mar-a-Lago and plan to "ramp up his travel schedule."
He and the former first family were formerly residing in his Bedminister Golf Club in New Jersey.
Trump's top advisor, Corey Lewandowski, told Fox News, "The season is starting to open down there. You are going to see a complete rush of candidates going down to the Mar-a-Lago area to do fundraising, to be near the president, to talk to him, to get his advice and counsel."
Trump has not officially announced his candidacy for 2024, but that has not stopped the speculation that he will.
Trump advisor Jason Miller said the chances of Trump running again are, "somewhere between 99, 100%".
Beyond what those close to Trump are saying, perhaps what they are doing is even more telling.
Longtime pastor and advisor Paula White Cain recently launched a national faith advisory board, "aimed at reinvigorating [Trump's] conservative Christian base." Religion News reports White Cain as saying their previous work, "... grew to the most robust coalition in modern-day history. Our unity brought unprecedented victories, influence and access."
Trump remains a strong voice of support for the Christian community in America. Recently he spoke at the "Let Us Worship" event in Washington D.C. on September 11th. While addressing the crowd by video, he said, "By uniting citizens of all denominations and backgrounds to promote faith and freedom in America, you are strengthening our entire nation, and we thank you for it."
While the world waits to hear the final verdict, Trump and his family are setting up a political base in Mar-a-Lago.
