Thoughts on JESUS by C.S. Lewis Other than few nice moral notes like:” love your enemy, love your neighbour and don’t do unto others”, most of Jesus’s teaching is about a relationship with God. The whole claim of Christianity hinges on Jesus Christ being the Lord, risen from the dead. If He isn’t God, than He would be the worst kind of madman, or a demon. To ask what He asks of His followers, to speak of God so openly and so intimately, like a Son would talk of His Father and to invite those who follow Him to gladly face persecution…unless divine, He would be the worst kind of monster.
