Keep your eyes on CHRIST alone. Don't look to men for your answers. The counsel of mere mortals will ebb and flow like the tide. The values of societies will vacillate with each new whim. The faith of societies of fallible men can be anchored in harbors of skepticism and error.
That's why societies rise and fall! But, as I Corinthians 1:25 assures us, "The weakness of God (Jesus on the cross) is stronger than men and the foolishness of God (that One Sinless Man died for the sins of all men) is wiser than men, and that is why JESUS CAN NEVER FAIL YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU (Hebrews 13:5)!
That is why you must keep your focus on Jesus! He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Heaven and earth will pass away, but Jesus' Word shall not pass away (Matthew 24:35). Jesus is the LIVING WORD OF GOD. He and the Father are ONE (John 10:30). He is alive forevermore (Revelation 1:18).
Jesus is the Bread of Life (John 6:35). Partake of the sustenance of He whom to know is life (John 17:3) and because HE LIVES, YOU SHALL LIVE ALSO (John 14:19). Keep your eyes on Christ alone. He is the only sure, un-blurred point of focus anyone can have in a world that is built upon shifting sand.
The allure of the earth is a mere mirage. The great gift of Jesus is Life and that more abundantly (John 10:10). Keep your eyes on Him forever!
