years, as a public school teacher, I read Dr. Carson's book, GIFTED
HANDS, to my fifth grade students, to inspire them to rise above any
negative label anyone tried to put on them. Ben Carson was called "the
class dummy" by fellow students. May we be inspired by his story to rise to meet and exceed our own expectations of ourselves, may we strive for the excellence the Lord has planted within us.
