The
encouragement found in the BIBLE exceeds that in any other source. The
WORD of GOD not only provides hope to the hopeless and courage to the
fearful but it also supplies truth to the lost and comfort to the
comfortless and healing for the broken.
The WORD of GOD extends love to the lonely and peace to the distraught. It gives strength to the weak and power to the powerless.
When it tells people of faith to "be not afraid," they may stand on that admonition to be courageous in the face of the doom and gloom that is overshadowing the world.

When the threat of lawlessness is swallowing the land into chaos, the
people of GOD may trust in the LAW of HEAVEN that is unchanging and
unshakable though the winds of tumult toss the world to and fro.
When the threat of terrorism increases because hatred abounds in the hearts of men who have been nurtured in a 'gospel of deceit and treachery and lust and murder,' the people of GOD may rest in the "peace of CHRIST that passes understanding."
When the threat of death overshadows the promise of life, the people of GOD may stand strong in the promise that eternal life is the portion of those who place their lives into the hands of the SAVIOR.
As the LORD HIMSELF stated, "In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world," so the people of GOD need not be afraid.
