Missing Home

This video makes me miss home.

Pittsburgh

A city of rivers and bridges and mountains and tunnels; the Cathedral of Learning, shopping, ethnic faces and foods of all kinds, sports teams, and colloquialisms--like 'youns'...equivalent to the Southern 'ya'll.'

These and so many more things are associated with home...and make me long for the place I grew up. None of this may mean a thing to you, but there's someplace that tugs at your heart, just as Pittsburgh tugs at mine.

For believers in CHRIST, that place is the eternal home that GOD has prepared for us. Oh, yes, we may live and move and have our being here on earth; we may be invested in building a life and making a living...we may even be about the LORD'S work here, but deep within us, there is a tugging at our hearts that reminds us we are not at home.

If you find yourself yearning for something that seems to elude you. If, no matter how much you strive or how much you accumulate or how much you give or how much you know, you feel an emptiness deep within that nothing you achieve or acquire seems able to fill, perhaps it is because in the depth of who you are, you miss home.

Where will home be for you--eternally?

To assure that you will abide forever in Heaven, reach out to JESUS today. Give HIM your heart, your life, your time, your eternity and you will know a joy that will be complete on that inevitable day when you will leave your temporary abode and journey to your eternal home.

Penguins. Pirates. Steelers. Warhol.

We stopped by Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to interact with the locals, catch a baseball game, and chow down on some good eats—and you should, too.
