A thin blue line stands between the citizens of a community and anarchy. A thin blue line separates law-abiding people from the devastating impact of the criminal element withing any society.
The men who stand in that line are white, black, hispanic, Asian. Most of them do the job they do because of their love for justice and for freedom and with dedication to the community they serve.
Are they perfect? No. Are there 'bad apples' among them? Yes.
But for the most part they are all that separates you from the mayhem
that would come upon you if they were not there to protect you from
lawlessness.
To our law-enforcement community we say, "Thank you for being at your post --often at great danger to yourself-- and thank you for quietly and selflessly guarding the gates of our community from the evil that would enter were you not standing watch against it."
And beyond that thin blue line, there is another force that guards against evil and that is the righteous banner of the LORD JESUS CHRIST who indwells the hearts of people who believe in HIS NAME.
Because of people of faith in HIM, there is a watch set on the wall of every community.
Because of faith in HIM there is an army of saints who live godly lives before HIM and within their communities. They eschew evil and do good because they desire to please a HOLY GOD.
These faithful ones are part of the force of righteousness that stands between humanity and lawlessness.
Join that force. Embrace JESUS and HIS righteousness.
ALLOW HIM TO ROBE YOU IN HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS...the best protection against evil is allowing the only ONE who is good to dwell within you.
