Your hope is not in the government, for the government is made up of failed, flawed men whose hearts are far from the heart of GOD.
Your hope is not in yourself, for you, too, are flawed.
Because mere mortals succumb to the vanity of self-aggrandizement and
the emptiness of the devil's promises of wealth and power, the world
plummets further and further into the abyss of hopelessness.
Yet the man of faith will anchor his hope to the ONE who cannot fail. The person who has seen the LIGHT of CHRIST will believe in HIM when there is nothing left to trust.
The man of faith will always remember that "the foolishness of GOD* is wiser than men."
*"The foolishness of GOD" is the truth that ONE SINLESS GOD-MAN would die so that every sinful, godless man could live.
May each of us, laden with sin, lay our burden at the feet of JESUS and allow HIM to wash us clean in the font of HIS shed blood so we may stand, robed in HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS through time and eternity.
