The Power of Prayer

It has been said that we must pray always because prayer changes things. Indeed it does. Many are the miracles that have been wrought through prayer.

George Washington, who was anointed by the HOLY ONE to lead his nation to freedom was covered in prayer by his countrymen. It is attested that at one point while in battle, Washington had four bullet holes through his clothing and had two horses shot out from under him but was himself untouched ...THAT'S the power of prayer.

A pilot during WW II was strafed by enemy bombers while on a crucial bombing mission in spite of the prayers that were being prayed for the success of the mission. When he landed, everyone was amazed that he'd returned to his base safely because the propellers on one side of his plane had been shot off. The pilot testified to the incredulous ground crew that he had looked from his window to see two angels holding up the severely damaged wing of his plane...THAT'S the power of prayer.

Is there something weighing heavily upon you, something beyond your ability to rectify? Pray.

Pray, because prayer does indeed change things, and even more remarkably, prayer changes you! Yes, it does! It enables you to tap into the great power that raised JESUS from the dead and that HE says dwells in you! (See Romans 8:11.)
