All That's Left--Excuses

Steelers fans are disappointed but not surprised after their loss to the New England Patriots.

Unfortunately for the team from Pittsburgh, they tend to be "on again / off again" in the way they play the game. In the championship game, they were off again.

One positive outcome of the Steelers' abysmal performance is the lesson they demonstrated before the watching world...YOU HAVE TO PLAY THE GAME TO WIN--ALL THE TIME.

That isn't just good advice for athletic teams but for individuals. A slap-dash effort isn't going to get you to the Super Bowl of life.

Your success in academics, in investment, in professional achievement, in romantic relationships, in parenting, in religious faith--in all aspects of life-- demand your top performance all the time.

GOD'S WORD, the BIBLE says, "In all that you do, do it as unto the LORD."

In order to be champions, people must perform as champions all the time.

If you desire to be a winner, be sure you take your "A Game" to every performance, or you will be like the Steelers--hoping for another chance at the golden ring at another time.
