Paul Carter

Paul Carter

Can you imagine if all the people who are out protesting, flooded local shelters to cook meals for the elderly, sick, and homeless?

Can you imagine if all the people protesting got together to repair houses that were almost uninhabitable, but still had residents inside who were suffering?

Imagine if all the people protesting went into the nursing homes and spent time with the elderly who had been left there by family... neglected by the very people they had raised, clothed, fed, and cared for for years. Only to be left by the wayside like unwanted trash.

Imagine if all the people protesting went into local mom and pop owned stores and bought a few items to help a small business that was struggling.

Before you bring up the civil rights movement...it was needed. There wasn't equality.

If you woke up today and could vote, walk into a business using the same door as everyone else used. Could get a drivers license. Apply for school, or any job with an opening, then you are not being oppressed.

Change starts with taking care of each other, and the people in need. It starts with loving those who feel abandoned, neglected, isolated, and broken. Reminding them that they aren't forgotten about. That they still matter.

"But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?"

Change starts when you become your brothers keeper.

To add to the wise words above, may I say that these protesters not only are not contributing anything "GOOD" to those around them, they are also "stealing, killing, and destroying."

Check out John 10:10 to see who is behind that kind of activity.
