Top Congressional Republicans condemn Chelsea Manning decision - Fox News
Top Congressional Republicans condemned Tuesday the decision by
President Barack Obama to commute former Army intelligence analyst
Chelsea Manning's 35-year prison sentence for leaking classified
documents.
House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., blasted the decision, calling it "outrageous."
"Chelsea Manning's treachery put American lives at risk and exposed some
of our nation's most sensitive secrets. President Obama now leaves in
place a dangerous precedent that those who compromise our national
security won't be held accountable for their crimes," Ryan said in a
statement.
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said the decision was a "grave mistake."
- Father God, we repent of this action perpetrated by the
outgoing president, Barack Hussein Obama. We ask that
this decision be overruled in a court of law, in Your name,
amen.
- "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."
(John 14:14)
