"EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN AGAIN, HE CANNOT SEE THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN." John 3:3
Can a man enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born again?
This is the question that was posed to JESUS when HE told Nicodemus that without being born again he would never see Heaven.
Nicodemus was a righteous, godly man whose entire life had been given
to the pursuit of the purposed of the GOD he loved and served.
If one that upright in the eyes of the HOLY ONE could not enter Heaven without being born again, what chance do you or I have of being welcomed there if we are not born again?
But, if we are reborn, if we do lay our lives at the feet of JESUS, we shall be like Stephen, the first CHRISTIAN martyr who, when he was stoned to death because of his faith in the SAVIOR, saw JESUS standing to greet him as he entered Heaven. (See Acts 6:8-8:1.)
The LORD is awaiting each of us with the eagerness of a loving parent who is awaiting the arrival of a precious child who has been away from home and hearth.
Don't disappoint HIM by your absence. Make sure you are there on that glorious morning when "the dead in CHRIST shall arise first and meet HIM in the air." I Thessalonians 4:14
