There is one ultimate truth that impacts every life. There is one reality that makes a difference in each life for time and eternity.
That one eternal truth has nothing to do with who is President of the United States, although every citizen of the United States should be committed to his patriotic privilege and duty.
That one eternal truth has nothing to do with how successful a person may be, although each person should be committed to using the intrinsic gifts that have been given to him to attain the goals that please the Father.
That one eternal truth has nothing to do with whether you are held in high regard for your faith or persecuted because of it.
That one, abiding and unswerving reality is that JESUS CHRIST LOVES YOU AND PAID AN INCALCULABLE PRICE TO GIVE YOU HIS "UNSPEAKABLE GIFT."
What you do with that singular truth, how that one reality impacts the way you live your life, will impact the circumstances you encounter through time and will govern the way you will spend eternity.
The HOLY ONE, the ONE who forsook the realm of glory to walk the earth as a humble man, the ONE who took upon HIMSELF the tabernacle of flesh so HE could live a sinless life in your behalf, the ONE who lived that sinless life, entirely pleasing to the HOLY GOD who is of purer eyes than to look upon sin, allowed your sin, my sin, the sin of all the world, to be placed upon HIS sinless shoulders.
JESUS took that unfathomable burden upon HIS SINLESS PERSON for only one reason--because of HIS LOVE.
Let that LOVE compel you to bow at the THRONE OF MERCY AND GRACE and there find deliverance from and forgiveness for every sinful act you have ever done, for every sinful thought that has ever crossed your mind--and thereby be delivered eternally from the dark abode of Sheol into the realm of HEAVEN'S light.
