Many conservative Americans have slacked off in their prayers for this nation. Someone who purports himself to be a conservative has been elected president so it seems their goal has been achieved.
But it hasn't.
Your values are still being diminished.
Your faith is still being attacked.
Your government is still being compromised.
It is evident by a thousand 'clues' that the left is still diligently at work.
Whether by the investigation into President Trump's tax record, or by the daily attacks against conservative ideals by the media, or by the indifference of the self-proclaimed right wing to the concerns of its own constituents--it is apparent that Americans who uphold the Constitution and who cherish the freedoms it assures are in the minority.
Should they become disheartened by the evidence that surrounds them that they face a formidable foe?
No, they should not.
Rather, they must recognize that their hope is not and has never been in the integrity of the media.
They must understand that their hope is not and has never been in the work of the government.
They must understand that their solution does not lie within the framework of the loftiest governmental document to ever be penned.
They must understand that all they seek, all for which they yearn, can be found only in the LORD JESUS CHRIST who is above and beyond the media or he government or the Constitution.
They must understand that their hope is where it has ever been--in the SAVIOR who sets them free, in the only ONE who has the power to deliver them from bondage and to anchor them to HIS promises that never fail.
