America is unique among the world's family of nations. No other country was established uniquely by CHRISTIANS, for CHRISTIANS. Early settlers to this land came expressly because they desired the freedom to worship the ONE, TRUE, LIVING GOD after their conscience.
Although they did not seek to establish any CHRISTIAN denomination above another, virtually all of our founding fathers expressed their personal acknowledgment of JESUS CHRIST as LORD Of their lives.
Our institutions of higher learning--Harvard, Yale...were established for the perpetuation of the GOSPEL of CHRIST. It is difficult to fathom today because these very institutions are bastions of liberal thought, but at their inception, they were CHRISTIAN to their very core.
The only other religion represented in early AMERICA was Judaism, a very small minority in this CHRISTIAN land.
AMERICA'S history is replete with significant evidence of GOD'S hand upon the leadership and the government of the land. A casual student of history is aware of the remarkable instances when the miraculous seemed to be a factor in the outcome of events.
What about today?
IS AMERICA GOD'S COUNTRY TODAY?
