It would be really nice to sit down in person and visit with you this morning. We could just chat about the current state of affairs and how the condition of the world is moving so fast toward the prophecies that speak of the end of times. It would be a good talk. I'm sure we could learn a lot from one another.
As I report each day about the news from a Christian worldview, I am constantly reminded of our prophetic mission-to make disciples. As the news and events rush in like a flood, it is ever more important that we are able to share Christ and the Gospel to others.
In the past 16 years, I have written over 5,000 times regarding current events and their prophetic significance. During that time, my effort has grown from about 35 people to well over 6,000 in subscriptions and probably another 20,000 who receive it by web, Facebook, and various other publications.
I receive dozens of emails each day about how people are encouraged by the truth, insight, and encouragement they receive from my observations, and how they use them to discuss important issues with others, to give a Christian point of view to those who may never have considered another way of thinking.
When I get these emails, they encourage me because it is in them that there is the true prophetic meaning in our current state of affairs-sharing the light of Christ in these dark days. Here is what some of them say:
"So grateful for your words of knowledge, wisdom, caution and encouragement. So grateful for your reminders to be strong - to love and to forgive. I pray for you and yours. Great blessing, protection and provision."--IB
"This article has got to be one of your best writings. I so agree with you on coming back to The Ancient Paths."-SH
"Thank you for your daily messages, they are valid and encouraging and lead to a greater/closer relationship with God our creator and redeemer."--BW
This ministry is rather unusual in that it provides news and analysis from a prophetic Christian worldview, but it also reaches out to those who are less fortunate in Ghana, West Africa with food, clean water, and clothing. When folks like you donate to this ministry, your funds spread the Word of God in very practical terms in some of the most impoverished places.
"Our water project at Amrahia in a rural section of Accra, and our monthly feeding programs deep inside rural areas, bring about hope, change and inspiration to many."-Pastor William Agbeti, our ministry partner in Ghana, West Africa
These rural areas are often under Muslim control, they are dangerous, and the large mega-churches refuse to go there. We do. It's an integral part of our mission to equip, encourage and evangelize and we want to do it in very useful, down-to-earth ways-food, clothing, clean water-all in the name of Christ and His loving-kindness.
Deuteronomy 15:11 says of a brother in need, "You shall surely give to him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give unto him: because for this thing the LORD your God shall bless you in all your works, and in all that you put your hand unto. For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command you, saying, you shall open your hand wide unto your brother, to your poor, and to your needy, in your land."
Today, I'm one of those brothers, humbly before you asking if you are so led to assist our ministry through prayer. We do not require subscriptions. We don't take salaries. We just report the news from a Christian worldview and try to help children in ways that would please the Lord.
These last few months have been tough. If the Lord has put it in your heart to do so, please pray for our effort. The power of prayer knows no borders and cannot be restrained.
Thank you for your help in these prophetic times.
