Let GOD Arise

"Arise, O LORD God, to Your resting place,
You and the ark of Your strength.
Let Your priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation,
And let Your saints rejoice in goodness."
II Chronicles 6:41,42

What happens when GOD arises?

According to HIS WORD that cannot fail and cannot lie, when HE rises up, HIS enemies are scattered!

The evil one has deployed his minions to our weary earth--they come to "steal, kill, and destroy."

They assault us on the highways through drunkenness that kills more people annually through vehicular accidents than from any other cause!

They attack us in our homes through domestic violence where spouses who have vowed to love one another through their lifetime come to the point of being unable to abide the presence of the other.

They attack us in our schools--in the "safe havens" to which we send our children each day. There they mow down those who are the promise of our nation's future.

They assail our bodies with the ravages of disease and old age, when the promise is that JESUS heals all who come to HIM and that HE "renews our youth like the eagle."

May our GOD arise in response to our fervent prayers before HIM. May HE arise in the defense of HIS people against the onslaught of the enemy. Let HIS priests and HIS saints be clothed in salvation--in the robes of HIS righteousness--that HIS people may rejoice in HIS goodness and in the fulfillment of HIS promises at the point of their need.
