CLEAN SUNDAY MARCH 29

Last year God, through the most unexpected sources DECLARED to the world: "Jesus Is King." This year, God in the most unexpected way and at the most inconvenient time is SHOWING the world: "Jesus is King." We've never lived in a time like this and we are ultimately powerless. In a moment, the whole world has been paralyzed by something we can't even see with our own eyes. All of man's best efforts have come to nothing.

This is the truth of God that humanity loves to hate in this generation. We MUST embrace the reality of His beauty, kindness, and enduring mercy at a higher level; but we CANNOT reject the reality of His nature as a jealous Lover, a King and a Judge.

Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
3“Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”

4He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision.
5Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure:
6“Yet I have set My King
On My holy hill of Zion.” --Psalm 2

We've not lived as though He actually is, who He has shown Himself to be. Our trust, our strength, our wisdom, our redemption, our solution lies in Him alone. It's time for us to go low.
