Officer Receives Kind Note
A police officer in Huntersville, North Carolina, stopped off at a local Dunkin’ for coffee Tuesday morning. When he walked back to his squad car, he found a sweet note he’ll not soon forget.
The cop, identified by Huntersville Police Department as Officer Aaron, spotted the following message scrawled on a Dunkin’ napkin tucked under his windshield: “Praying God’s protection over you — today and always!”
Aaron said he plans to keep the handwritten note in his car “from now on.”
The kindhearted gesture comes as police are facing increasing scrutiny from many on the left as well as dangerously violent attack.
