Christa (Mar 3, 2022) "They're saying, 'we're seeing things at night that we don't normally see that save us.'" -Unnamed pastor in Belarus [GODTV.com] A pastor in Belarus reported that his fellow Ukrainian brothers and sisters in faith have felt the power of prayer amid the terrors of war. He shared that Ukrainian soldiers believe God is helping them because strange things are happening in their midst. "They're saying, 'we're seeing things at night that we don't normally see that save us.'" He continued, "It seems like sometimes bullets are just passing us by, instead of hitting us' and things like this." This pastor, who wanted to remain anonymous, has lived in Belarus for 12 years. He has been serving Holocaust survivors in Belarus and has a lot of friends across Ukraine. And the testimonies from his Ukrainian friends have encouraged him and other Believers that God has been answering the prayers that are being lifted to the Lord in the behalf of this nation under siege. One of his Ukrainian pastor friends said that their current situation made him feel like "he is dreaming." A great move of God's Spirit Thankfully, God had already warned him and his congregation and promised them victory through it all. God led them to Psalm 25, where it is written, "I trust in You; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. No one who hopes in You will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause." The pastor added, "When we go through these hard times, we reap joy and we know that in spite of the evil, something good will come." He noted that they received a prophecy in the fall that indicated, "there is going to be a hard time coming to Ukraine. Then, afterward, it will be one of the best times. "And I understood that probably meant a great move of God's Spirit will come to our land." The pain of war and devastation will be overcome when the Holy Spirit moves in power among the people of Ukraine. We pray for that day for all mankind. |
