Walk in Faith
Our world is fraught with many challenges. Problems that have existed for thousands of years are escalating before our eyes. Statistics show that crime rates are up, educational accomplishments are down, relationships are crumbling, trust in leadership is plummeting.
Those who are older view the end of their days with relief that they won't have to face the calamity that seems bound to come tomorrow, while anguishing that their children and grandchildren will have to face unspeakable challenges.
How are we to navigate through these treacherous waters of change? How can we attempt to equip those who come after us to deal with the pitfalls they will be required to face?
The answer to this dilemma lies in one word -- TRUST.
What should we trust? Who should we trust?
The answer to this overwhelming question lies in one word -- JESUS.
Circumstances may change. Challenges may elevate. Conflict may increase. But JESUS is forever the same.
Decades ago, a message was received about a family member who was dying. Her condition was so dire that her death certificate had been filled in with all the necessary information except the exact moment of her demise.
A card had been sent to her to encourage her faith and it arrived as the death certificate was being completed.
Her physician, a famous transplant surgeon at the time, came in to visit her that evening to check on her condition. He found her sitting up in bed, chatting with family members who had gathered around her. Like them he was amazed to see her whole and well.
His incredulous question to her was, "What has happened to you?"
Her response was, "All I know is that this card arrived today. It says that JESUS can heal me. Before it got here, I was dying but as soon as it arrived, my condition was totally turned around."
Are you facing something that seems impossible to overcome?
Are you facing something that you are unable to turn around?
"JESUS IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER." Just as HE healed a dying woman and restored her to her family and loved ones, HE can touch your circumstances and cause them to evidence HIS power and HIS glory.
The mightiest force available to mankind is the power of prayer. Your greatest strength is when you are on your knees.
Don't forget to pray and JESUS won't forget to glorify HIMSELF in you and your circumstances.
