On this Veterans' Day, we face an enemy who is unlike the armies against which our military have fought so valiantly.
That enemy is very patient. His goal of world dominion has not changed in the history of his existence. His strategy is to lie low, to be accommodating and accepting of the idea of co-existence when he perceives himself to be weak but to conquer mercilessly when he is strong.
He knows nothing of compromise. He knows nothing of surrender.
He values death, for he feels that in dying for his cause he attains the ultimate prize.

His god rewards his ruthlessness and the terror he wreaks.
How do we counter such a foe?
We must value life more than he covets death. We must live for Christ and declare to the world that HIS SACRIFICE, MADE BECAUSE HIS HEART IS FILLED WITH LOVE FOR MANKIND, OVERCOMES DEATH, HELL, AND THE GRAVE!
We must place our lives at His feet in surrender to Him, we must receive the "unspeakable gift" of II Corinthians 9:15 that He has given to us, and we must share it with everyone who will receive it.
Our GOD rewards our love and faithful service. He has said, "Be faithful unto death, and I will give you a crown of life." Revelation 2:10
