The Bible tells us to "study to show yourself approved, a workman who rightly understands the truth." II Timothy 2:15
That is a profound admonition that everyone should follow. We should study God's Holy Word the Bible so we will understand the promises and blessings and choices it extends to us.
And, we, as citizens of a country founded by godly people and established upon an incomparable human document, should study it as well, so we will understand the great gift that has been bequeathed to us by our founding fathers and so we won't allow ourselves be robbed of it by lesser men.
