Good Morning!

Having a good morning, a good day, a good weekend can be contingent upon what each morning, day, weekend holds--but it doesn't have to. If we allow our circumstances to dictate how we will feel, then, of course there will be a correlation between the things that happen and whether or not we perceive ourselves as experiencing 'good.'

But if we stand on the word of God, if we allow our relationship with Him to be the source of our 'good,' then we will allow that good to override every experience that occurs in our lives.

Nehemiah 8:10 says, "The JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH." At those moments when we are, of ourselves, weak and frail, when we are overcome by circumstances beyond our control, when we have exhausted our resources and are beyond the point of self-help, we will know that the inner joy that we possess because we are HIS and HE is ours will sustain us through every challenge we face!

We will not give up and we will not give in! We will not be intimidated by the onslaught of the foe for we will know within the inner heart of who we are, we will know within that place where HIS JOY ABIDES that "we are more than conquerors through Christ!" Romans 8:37

And knowing that victory is ours will enable us to stand in JOY, even as did the Apostle Paul when he awaited death in a cold Roman dungeon. We will be able to say with him that, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13

So, have your good morning, your good day, your good weekend! Go forth in victory to the future the LORD holds out to you, knowing that with HIM, you can indeed do all things.

With HIM, you can indeed abide in JOY!
