"GOD shall supply all you need according to HIS riches in glory by CHRIST JESUS." Philippians 4:19
There is fullness of supply, there is complete provision in our SAVIOR.
We may not possess the riches of the world. At times, it may appear that we suffer great lack, but the presence or absence of temporal things in our lives is not the indicator of the fullness of the LORD'S promise to meet all our needs.
The
value system by which the HOLY ONE operates is not the one that is
esteemed by the world. In the eyes of mere men, one is wealthy if he
possesses fine things, has attained great wealth, wields power among
men, is elevated above his fellow man.
The LORD does not recognize these fleeting things as being of worth. The Apostle Paul, who before his conversion to CHRIST possessed all these things, stated that once he sealed himself to the HOLY ONE, he "counted them as dung."
The temporal life can conclude suddenly and without warning. Everything a mortal holds dear can be lost to him in the twinkling of an eye, but the one who owns CHRIST as his SAVIOR has in his possession GOD'S "UNSPEAKABLE GIFT," II Corinthians 9:15, that cannot fade with time and cannot be lost at death.
When a believer in JESUS passes from life to LIFE, his treasure is not left behind, it awaits him.
