If...?

The BIBLE is very clear when it says, "A tree shall be known by its fruit."

By that definition alone, a clear line of demarcation can be made between those who call themselves 'liberal,' and those who are 'conservative.'

Add to that the BIBLICAL warning that, "One day, the vile man shall no longer be called 'liberal,'" and it becomes apparent that the wise man will be cautious of the political agenda to which he adheres himself.

It hasn't been very long since people were displaying the letters, WWJD? which stood for 'What Would JESUS DO?' The implication was that people should make decisions and take actions based upon the mind and upon the behavior that CHRIST exhibited when HE walked among us.

If JESUS were a policeman, would HE use deadly force?

If JESUS were concerned about injustice, would HE execute those HE thought were unjust without judge or jury?

If JESUS were concerned about the safety and well-being of children, would HE protest their plight in the streets or would HE enrich their lives through involvement in the church and in the schools and in the home?

If JESUS were weary of man's inhumanity to man, would HE slay HIS opposition or would HE return to earth to establish HIS reign for a thousand years?

HE has said HE is coming back...if JESUS is our SAVIOR, shouldn't we believe HIM?

If we believe HIM, shouldn't we act as HE would act when confronted by today's quandaries?
