O Great GOD and KING, we come before YOU with humble and broken hearts because we have failed YOU in so many ways.
We repent of our indifference that causes our brothers to feel excluded from the American Dream.
We repent of our stagnation that causes us to do nothing when the hearts of our fellow citizens are weary with the status quo.
We repent of our failure to shine YOUR LIGHT brightly into the darkness around us.
We repent of our neglect to extol YOUR TRUTH when the lies of the evil one are rampantly disseminated among us.
We repent of the LIVING WATER we have neglected to pour over this dry and thirsty land.
Help us, LORD JESUS, to become so much like YOU that those who look upon us will see YOUR GLORY and grasp YOUR TRUTH and embrace YOUR SALVATION and LOVE.
Help us, PRECIOUS SAVIOR to die to ourselves and to live for YOUR KINGDOM'S PURPOSES.
We know our own helplessness, but we also know YOUR strength. Let us lean on YOU and let us see YOUR plan unfold before us.
