Since the Election by Bill Wilson
Since the election, this post has received hundreds of emails and letters. Some speak of accountability, others about wisdom. Still others about providing information that is relevant and accurate. It would be difficult to go into all of them and truly express the inspiration and encouragement that I personally receive when reading them.
There are others who condemn, discourage, and viciously argue with the points of view presented here. In their strange way, they too, are encouraging because there is always room for improvement; so as long as someone is reading, they may get something that changes their lives for good. I appreciate you and thank you for reading and taking action from what I post.
As the Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 3:1, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come."
Just because we prevailed in stopping the Islamic Marxist revolution designed to overthrow our Republic, it doesn't mean that residue of it is gone. We are going to have to be vigilant to hold accountability -both to the new Administration and ourselves- to God.
I truly believe that the Lord has heard our prayers and has seen how many of us repented for our nation and stood in the gap to make up the hedge. We have been spared further destruction by a corrupt and evil force that could have remained in the key leadership position over our people. Notwithstanding, these are perilous times and so are the times ahead.
As you see how the losers responded to the election, their temper tantrums, accusations, pronouncements of racism, xenophobia, bigotry and so on, there is a mission field before us.
My thought is that there is a greater mission field here in America than in many places in the world where we send missionaries. Our children and their children are part of a dark system that has for too long had its way.
We, as Christians, must focus our missionary efforts right here in our homes and our communities, while still not abandoning our outreach in other countries. The generation before us is misguided and they believe strongly in their misguided ways. In speaking against hate, they themselves hate. Evil is good. Good is evil in their ungodly minds.
Pray for the strength and courage to be that good citizen of the Kingdom of God. Pray that you show by example why someone would want to have the peace and freedom you have through Christ.
We have stood against the principalities in this country and have won a reprieve, but with that comes responsibility. Powered by the Lord, our actions accomplished something no one thought possible. Now for the larger and more difficult assignment: Turning Americans toward Christ--onr heart at a time.
As Christ said in John 16:33, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
With Christ as our example, we can overcome the darkness within our nation.
You are greatly appreciated. Thank you for all you do and for what you will do.
