Answers
to prayer are often like snow in the spring. They come suddenly when
you've stopped looking for them. Like the snow you anticipated all
winter long that didn't arrive, they come when you've turned your
thoughts to other things.
You've scrubbed your porch furniture.
You've bought seeds for your garden.
You've selected paint colors for the house.

Then the snow begins to fall...lightly at first. You suspect it will
stop as abruptly as it started, but it doesn't...it accumulates!
It becomes a winter wonderland that is too beautiful to describe...Just like answers to prayers that you thought were unheard by GOD.
You've resigned yourself to being without the desire of your heart.
You've concluded that the HOLY ONE in HIS wisdom chose not to answer.
You've busied yourself with distractions that cushion your disappointment.
Then the answer arrives...you're incredulous at first. You fear that if you believe it, it will vanish away, but it doesn't...it is yours!
It reminds you that HIS promises never fail.
It is evidence that "the same power that raised JESUS from the dead" really does "live in you."
