Now!

"The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the WORD of our GOD will stand forever."

The first crocuses to poke their little heads out of the snow are welcomed with enthusiastic joy. As lovely as the winter snow might have been in its season, we are eager to proceed into the breath-taking wonder of spring.

Yet, we know that all the beautiful things we delight in--the cherry blossoms in Washington, D.C., the fresh fragrance of newly-mowed grass, the warm breezes that replace the cold wind of winter--are also temporary.

Like winter and its snow and ice, they will give way to the next season.

And so is life.

One season will follow another until our final breath takes us to the thresh hold of eternity where we will abide forever in the place we've chosen.

Will it be the mansion that JESUS has prepared for us...the vast, glorious place where new wonders and incomparable adventures will unfold before us forever?

Or will it be the place of the dark gloom of regret from which there can be no escape?

GOD'S love letter to man, the HOLY BIBLE, tells us that "Now is the accepted time, today is the day of salvation."

We can't always see the signs of our inevitable demise; many people are snatched into death's grip unaware. We have no assurance of another day to make our eternal decision to receive CHRIST as our personal SAVIOR and LORD...all we are assured is "now."

Don't allow yourself to remain on "the broad road that leads to destruction." Rather, walk "the narrow path that leads to life."

Don't be overtaken when the season of life transitions into death for you. If you are prepared for it, the season of eternity will be more glorious than any you can imagine.

Remember HIS caution that the seasons can change abruptly: NOW!
