The Death of Unbiased News
The death of unbiased news began with the fawning of Obama and has been completed during the relentless vilification of Trump.
The media barrage against President Trump is endless, and it is vitriolic.
Dana Carey, the comedian who poked fun at George Herbert Walker Bush during his presidency stated that today's humor is harsh and cruel, quite unlike the spoofing that he did when 41 was president.
While Barack Obama was the darling of the media, President Trump is its dart board. The failures and shortcomings of the Obama administration, such as Bengasi and illegal gun running, are ignored and praises redound for Barack and Michelle.
That same media pounces on every word uttered by Trump and perpetuates news stories that paint him in an unfavorable light even when it becomes obvious that the stories have little merit.
This isn't a matter of liking or disliking any given occupant of the Oval Office. It is a matter of accurate and unbiased reporting of the news.
And accurate and unbiased reporting of the news seems not to exist anymore.
