Democrats stand for "ABORTION ON DEMAND WITHOUT APOLOGY." They obviously stand also for "ABORTION ON DEMAND AND WITHOUT APOLOGY AND WITHOUT REPENTENCE."
Years ago I knew a woman (long since deceased) who had acted as a prostitute near an army camp during WW II. She became pregnant and had the child aborted.
She spoke to me of the abortion of the child many years later, perhaps to salve her tortured soul. She never spoke without weeping. She never thought of the child without anguish and tears...
I knew her in the 1960s, some thirty years after her baby was aborted.
We cried together every time she spoke of the child and I knew her until she died.
For some, the pain of abortion never goes away.
