There is a high premium placed upon ones ability to probe into the core of a situation and to remedy what may not be functioning optimally. It's important to get to the root cause of a problem rather than to merely smooth over its superficial aspects.
The 'trouble shooters,' the 'problem solvers' find themselves on the fast track to success in their chosen fields. They will be accorded many accolades along their way to the pinnacle of success.
They are perhaps among the most unfortunate people on earth because
their highly regarded and bountifully rewarded achievements cause them
to believe that they hold the power to attain all they need for wealth
and power and happiness to be theirs.
Those who are not on the fast track, who have not overtaken their fellows in their chosen fields of endeavor, know better. They know failure can devastate their finest effort. They know disappointment can dash their highest hope.
They understand the Biblical admonition, "Without Me, you can do nothing," John 15:5, so they willingly bend their knees before God and allow Him to orchestrate the course of their lives.
They realize that as success is elusive apart from the Lord, the promise is that "With Christ you can do all things," Philippians 4:13. The choice lies within the will of every man. He decides Whom he will serve, Joshua 24:15.
Each man decides whether he will look to himself for answers, for successes, for hope ...or if he will look to Christ to supply all he needs, according to Philippians 4:19.
Each man decides whether he will look within for answers or whether he will look up.
