What do you want to accomplish--for yourself, for your family, for your acquaintances, for your nation, for your world?
Are you focused on the immediate, the personal, the temporary?
Or have you set your mind and heart to be an instrument in the hand of the Living and True God to effect His purposes--purposes that will touch not only yourself but everyone who occupies the planet?
Is that too far a stretch for you? Is it impossible for you to envision touching the world for Christ?
The reality is that a handful of men on fire for the LORD "turned the world upside down" for JESUS (Acts 17:6)--in a day when there wasn't mass communication; in a day when a person at his computer could not impact those who are "afar off; as many as the Lord our God shall call." (Acts 2:39)
The same Holy Spirit that was available to them is available to us--to you! By the power of the Holy Spirit we can still turn the world upside down for JESUS.
The WORD OF GOD, THAT CANNOT FAIL AND CANNOT LIE, tells us that "THE SAME POWER THAT RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD DWELLS WITHIN US," Romans 8:11.
Doesn't that suggest that there is a mighty work we can accomplish if we will simply be about God's business!
Doesn't that steel our resolve to allow HIM to accomplish through us "infinitely more than we can ask or think, according to HIS POWER at work within us"! Ephesians 3:20
