Pressure to Do Evil

Sometimes the pressure to do evil is overwhelming. Sometimes evil is being done by everyone around you. Sometimes evil is considered good.

The BIBLE has a word regarding the turning of good and evil around. It says, "Woe to them who call good evil and who call evil good." Isaiah 5:20

WOE TO THEM.

We needn't look back 70 years to Nazi Germany to see evil. As Alexander Solzhenitsyn said, "The line between good and evil goes through the heart of every man." It goes through your heart. It goes through mine.

What are we doing with the evil we see encroaching around us? What are we doing with the encroaching evil within us?

What are we doing when we see our brothers in Christ being persecuted and tortured and butchered because they are believers in the ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD, because they have accepted the SAVIOR WHO CONQUERED DEATH AND THE GRAVE as their personal SAVIOR AND LORD?

What are we doing when we see our government re-writing our laws to give assent to and to celebrate evil?

What are we doing when we are mocked and derided because we accept not the perverted law of man but the holy, immutable law of GOD?

What will we do when the assault against us exacerbates? When we are no longer merely mocked and derided but are ourselves victims of torture? When we are ourselves led to death?

What then?

Short, but powerful – a story of courage in Nazi Germany. Thursday was Holocaust Memorial Day.
