It is the hearts' desire of all PATRIOTIC AMERICANS that this nation be restored to its godly roots.
It is the hearts' desire of everyone who loves freedom that AMERICA not falter under the onslaught against her--by enemies from within and without.
The story has been told of imprisoned Russian dissidents who pray regularly for AMERICA because she is the last bastion of freedom. If AMERICA falls, the precious entity of liberty, the only hope of people in bondage, will perish from the earth.
Should not we who live in the "land of the free and the home of the
brave" add our voices to that prayer? Should we not give abounding
thanks to the GOD of HEAVEN who allowed this nation to rise up strong
and free?
Should we not first pledge ourselves to the great GOD and KING at WHOSE feet our founding fathers placed this country and should we not then pledge ourselves to the restoring of this land to the CHRIST, to the nation, to the freedom they loved and for which they gave so much?
"IF MY PEOPLE, WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME, WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY AND SEEK MY FACE, AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN AND FORGIVE THEIR SIN AND HEAL THEIR LAND." II Chronicles 7:14
Let us turn together from godless leaders and godlessness within ourselves; let us turn together to the CHRIST who died to make us free and redeemed men for time and eternity.
No matter what looms over the political horizon, may we who name that NAME that is above all names stand strong and free; let us proclaim HIS glory and let us pray that our nation has a THIRD GREAT AWAKENING that restores us to the GOD of our fathers.
