The Trick Baby

Born a 'trick' baby, but the trick was on the devil!

The Trick Baby ...
...The most powerful 3 minutes I've listened to in a long time!

When the Establishment Is Threatened

When the Establishment Is Threatened by Bill Wilson

Donald Trump must really have the establishment threatened.

There have been news reports that the only allies Hillary Clinton has are the establishment Democrats and the mainstream media. This is playing out today before your very eyes with the unprecedented Clinton endorsement of USA Today.

It was not a ringing endorsement of Clinton, however, as one would expect, but rather a stinging diatribe against Trump, calling him unfit for the office, a habitual liar, a reckless man with a checkered business history, who "traffics in prejudice."

In other words, USA Today took the Clinton talking points and turned it into an editorial maligning Trump as "beyond repair."

The "establishment" is threatened. In the next 30 days, Americans will see an unprecedented attack by those whose power is threatened by a Trump presidency. We already have seen it in the works.

Politico reports: "The United Nations News Centre - the official U.N. news service - tweeted, then quickly pulled, a post that called for "8 million Americans abroad" to "stop Trump."

The tweet, published at 9:14 p.m. ET on Thursday, urged American expats to share a voter registration tool on the website of the activist organization Avaaz that states, "U.S. Citizens abroad could defeat Trump ... if they voted." While the UN has tried to influence US politics in the past, it is vehemently pushing illegal voting, anything that would stop a Trump candidacy. As Christians, we can look at this in two major ways. Some may say, "See, I told you so. If so many people who are intimately involved in world affairs are against this man, so should we be. Where there is smoke there is fire."

Or many may say, "If so many of these world leaders who are afraid of losing their power, who have run economies into extraordinary debt, have fomented war rather than peace by promoting Islam, and have subjected individual rights-including the right to life, freedom of speech and of religion-to overreaching government are against Trump, maybe he is on to something good."

Personally, I fall into the latter category. These established world leaders have made a mess of things. Trump can do no worse. Hillary Clinton is all the things that USA Today accuses Trump of being. She is a liar, a crook, traffics in class warfare, supports nations who wish to kill all Americans who do not submit to them, peddles influence for money (especially from terrorist sponsors), and the list goes on and on.

Clinton is the "establishment's" woman.

We do not have great choices for the presidency, but I know what kind of choice Clinton is, what she stands for and her body of work. She is the antithesis of what is good and right about America.

As Jesus said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you."

Be careful not to be deceived by those who will make accusations based on the content of their own hearts so they can keep their power and continue their deeds at the expense of others (like you and me).

Teach us, Lord, to value our role as citizens. Awaken in the electorate a desire to know the true principles upon which this country was built, and draw us to Your vision for the restoration of our beloved country.

Let us never take for granted the free land You have given us. Please show us, Lord, how to do our part to secure the blessings of liberty for ourselves and those to come.

We ask for leaders and a citizenry who truly understand our accountability before You for every vote we cast, or do not cast. Help us to wisely evaluate every candidate and policy against your Word. We ask for the wisdom to vote as You would have us vote.

We ask You to grant our citizens the wisdom to discern truth from spin and deception. Give us radar to know when a candidate or policy is counterfeit to the true founding principles and Constitutional roots of this land, borne out of faith in You and Your word.

Move our leaders and our citizens to rightly divide the responsibilities of government vs. the responsibilities of citizens as defined by You.

God Almighty, we plead with you to guide, guard, convict and correct all candidates, campaigns, consultants, political operatives and staff members. We ask You to draw them to integrity before the citizens of this country. Give them the will to honestly place their values and visions before us, free of manipulation and deception. We ask You to expose and defeat those who lie.

We pray, Lord, against the voter fraud that has so crippled our confidence in the electoral process. We ask You to expose and bring to justice those who would undermine free and fair elections. Please help us to restore integrity to the election process in America. Rid our system of corruption, we pray.

O Lord, give me the wisdom and the courage to confidently and righteously take a stand for Your Truth with my fellow citizens. Use my voice, Lord, I pray.

Black Moon Friday

Black Moon Friday by Dr. Jim Denison

Is today the "End of Days"?

Some say it is. We are witnessing a "Black Moon," which is the second of two new moons in a single month. The phenomenon occurs roughly every thirty-two months, so it's not all that unusual.

However, the first day of September brought a "ring of fire" solar eclipse, with the moon aligned with the sun in such a way that the sun appears as a glowing ring around the moon.

Do these events herald the end of the world?

Jesus told us that "the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light" before he returns (Matthew 24:29). However, in the same verse he also told us that "the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken." Neither has occurred yet.

When thinking about the Second Coming, it's best to focus on preparing rather than predicting. Some good news in today's news makes that point.

You may have seen the now-viral video of Tim Tebow hitting a home run on the first pitch of his first game as a professional baseball player.

Meanwhile, Politico is calling two congressmen "Hill's angels" after they resuscitated a man on Capitol Hill. They found the man lying on the floor of an elevator in the Rayburn House office building and used CPR and a defibrillator to keep him alive until paramedics arrived.

A police detective in Plano, Texas saw a man run out of a convenience store carrying a donation jar full of cash. The detective caught the man and pinned him to the roof of his car. When the man started to break away, the detective yelled for help. A bystander filming the confrontation on his cell phone and another man helped restrain the suspect until the policeman could handcuff him. The detective later treated the men to lunch at a steak restaurant. It cost him almost $100, but he said it was the least he could do.

These stories illustrate what Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. called "the fierce urgency of now." When the moment comes, we must respond. What we do when we have the chance to make a difference makes all the difference.

We never know when the crisis will come. Those riding the New Jersey Transit train into Hoboken Terminal yesterday morning had no idea their routine commute would end so tragically. The victims of landslides in southeastern China obviously did not anticipate tragedy before it struck.

Today is our only day to be ready for eternity. It is also our only day to serve the God of eternity. Neither "yesterday" nor "tomorrow" exist except as concepts. This moment is the only moment there is.

That's why God calls us to be ready today to serve Jesus and others. We are to be "prepared to make a defense" of our faith (1 Peter 3:15) and to "watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour" of Christ's return (Matthew 25:13).

If you knew that you would meet Jesus today, what would you do to be ready?

I cannot promise that you will see your Lord on this "Black Moon" Friday, but I cannot promise that you will not.

Church Closures?

Religious leaders--not just Protestant, not just Catholic--CHRISTIAN leaders across the board--are warning voters that the up-coming election is of great importance to the survival of the CHURCH.

If you are a person of faith in CHRIST, no matter your religious affiliation, it behooves you to register to vote.

It behooves you to take your faith to the poling place and to cast your ballot for the candidate whose policies best reflect your faith and the heart of JESUS.

Count It All Joy

The WORD of GOD does not say that various trials are joy but that believers should count them as joy.

How can anyone, even someone who is a staunch CHRISTIAN, look upon life's difficulties and count them as joy?

The only viable answer to that question is because the person of faith in JESUS knows that HE "causes all things to work together for good to those who love HIM..."

Is Romans, Chapter Eight the greatest chapter in the BIBLE?

Here are seven reasons why some believers think it is:

Romans 8:
1. States the cause and result of our broken universe
2. Clearly articulates God's intention for humanity
3. Shows the distinct actions of the persons of the Trinity
4. Shows the depth of our need for God and the height of His grace
5. Opens us to trust the invitations of God
6. Widely and specifically expresses the goodness and trust worthiness of God
7. Shows us glorious truths to help us love God

Have We Changed?

Have we changed?

Did we once hold our leaders to a higher standard of personal integrity and comportment than we do today?

The disparity between the resignation required of Richard Nixon in 1973 because of his deletion of 18 minutes of a recorded telephone conversation regarding the Watergate break-in and the pass Hillary Clinton has been given regarding her tens of thousands of deleted e-mails is telling evidence that we have changed.

Is our willingness to accept corruption in our leaders reflective of the falling standard to which we hold ourselves?

Do we have a lower standard of personal integrity?

Do we comport ourselves less honorably than we once did?

If we as individual Americans have been swallowed into a quagmire of compromise; if we as individual Americans care little about the defense of our Constitution and the freedoms it assures to us, we should not be surprised if we are willing to accept a flawed candidate whose integrity has been repeatedly proven, through the decades that she's been on the political scene, to be sub-standard.

Perhaps we are in the category of people who willingly settle for unworthy leadership. Perhaps we are like those described in the BIBLE as "having the leader they want." (See I Samuel 8:1-22.)

Words to Ponder

The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.  We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only Promise of the Father.”  John 1:14

Our Only Justification

September 30
Our Only Justification by Earl Henn

“Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.” Romans 3:28

This concludes Paul's entire discussion begun in Romans 3:10. The only way we can be justified—that is, have our sins forgiven and be brought into a right relationship with God—is through faith in the sacrifice of Christ.

This justification is something that is imputed to us once we meet God's conditions of repentance and baptism (Acts 2:38). We cannot earn it through law-keeping or doing good works.

However, what many do not understand is that being justified is not the same as being saved. Justification is only one step on the road to salvation. Someone who has been justified cannot break God's laws with impunity and expect to receive salvation anyway.

To have our sins forgiven, we must repent from having broken the laws of God (Acts 3:19). To repent means "to turn around"—to stop sinning and orient our lives to obeying God's law. Paul explains it plainly in Romans 3:31: "Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law."

The true Christian, having repented from sin, has been given the gift of God's Holy Spirit, which is the love of God that enables him to keep His laws in their full spiritual intent and purpose.

He has been justified and has received God's undeserved pardon.

He realizes his sins caused Jesus Christ to have to suffer and die.

Because of all of these things, the true Christian strives with all his might to resist the pulls of the flesh and to put sin out of his life.

Paul makes it very clear that the true Christian must not continue to live a life of sin. "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?" (Romans 6:1-2).

The true Christian understands that the way he lives and conducts his life has a great bearing upon whether he will inherit the Kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-21).

To receive salvation, we must not only be justified, but we must live a life of obedience to the laws of God, developing the fruits of His Spirit in our lives (Galatians 5:22-23).

Then—and only then—will God give us the gift of eternal life, for if we truly love Jesus, we will walk as He walked and allow His light to shine through us.

New Terror Law

New Terror Law by Bill Wilson

The new terror law recently enacted targets a major contributor to the Hillary Clinton campaign.
Congress enacted a law to allow families of victims to sue Saudi Arabia for its implicit role in 9/11, and to seize Saudi assets if they obtain a judgment against the Saudi government.

The president fiercely fought the legislation and vetoed it. Congress, in a rare show of both unity and spine, overwhelmingly overrode his veto.

Hillary Clinton's running mate, Senator Tim Kaine, did not vote, signaling that team Clinton also opposed the legislation.

Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, released a statement in June saying that the Saudis fund 20% of Clinton's campaign, which is illegal. Put two and two together and Clinton's terror sponsoring donors can now be sued and their assets seized.

The New York Times reports that the law allows families of the September 11 victims to alter lawsuits already underway--or file new suits--to directly sue Saudi Arabia and to demand documents and other evidence.

It amends a 1976 law that grants foreign countries broad immunity from American lawsuits. Now nations can be sued in federal court if they are found to have played any role in terrorist attacks that killed Americans on United States soil.

The Saudi Arabian government lobbied hard against the bill. Clinton and the Saudis share a long history. In 2008, for example, the Saudis gave up to $20 million to the Clinton Foundation, which oft has been accused of laundering money to Clinton political causes. These ties go deep.

John Podesta, is Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman and founder of the Podesta group.

The Podesta Group is receiving some $200,000 a month for "public relations services" from Saudi Arabia. When the Deputy Crown Prince's statement was posted, the Podesta Group issued a correction through Petra (Jordan's official news agency) that Petra did not publish the statement by the Saudi Deputy Crown Prince, that it was hacked and the statement appeared.

Notwithstanding, Breitbart reported that records verify Hillary Clinton's foundation has taken between $74.5-87.8 million from Algeria, Brunei, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates--all Islamic nations.

Clinton admits that some sponsor terrorism.

Hillary says that the Saudis, Qataris, Kuwaitis and others should stop sponsoring terrorism. Yet her foundation has taken at least $75 million from them and others, with one claiming it funds 20% or $42 million of her presidential campaign.

Add that Huma Abedin, whose family is foundational to the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organization, is Clintons top aide, and her campaign chairman John Podesta works for the Saudis, and there is the appearance of something deceptive, illegal and dangerous to Americans taking place with Ms. Clinton.

II Timothy 3:13 says, "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived."

Just make sure these free-walking criminals do not deceive you.

Rewards

Americans are compassionate people. Americans are the first and the most generous to respond when there is a natural disaster--no matter where it occurs. Americans are quick to share the bounty with which they have been blessed with others who are less fortunate. Americans have also shared their technological expertise with developing nations so they could become self-sufficient in many areas.

Americans should be generous with their own. People who are out of work in a troubled economy should be able to collect benefits and should rightly anticipate that those benefits will continue until employment is found.

However, Dr. Phil is right when he says that we must stop rewarding bad behavior in America.

Bill Gates stated it very succinctly when he said, "People should not feel good about themselves until they have done something about which they should feel good."

Our schools are prime culprits in this. Instead of making academic achievement something about which the diligent student can be proud, they reward the 'achievement' of a D+ over a D with equal enthusiasm!

This kind of 'reward' for unsatisfactory performance is not seen on the football field or in the board rooms of corporations and it shouldn't be in our institutions of learning

If we don't begin to apply Dr. Phil and Bill Gates' philosophies to our classrooms, we will quickly lose our edge to nations that demand high achievement of those whom they reward.

In Neither Case

Donald Trump has not always been kind in his assessment of women. He has been crude in some of his comments about their appearance--as, perhaps one might expect, from a man who has sponsored beauty contests.

Donald Trump, a man who has not, until recently, felt the necessity of accepting CHRIST as his personal SAVIOR (perhaps because his wealth has made him believe he needs nothing he cannot provide for himself) has not always made choices in his life that reflect a Biblical viewpoint.

Bill Clinton is a man who professed CHRIST at an early age but who has lived a life of profligate behavior toward women. His affairs have been common knowledge since prior to his election as president.

Accusations against him have included that of rape. If that is true, and evidence suggests that it is, he is a man who has allowed his impulses to drive his behavior rather than allowing his faith to chart the course of his life.

In this matter, as well as in so many issues that reflect Secretary-of-State Clinton's ineptitude, carelessness and lack of patriotism, no accountability has been required by the media.

In neither case are these men's daughters responsible for their parents' actions, but one is posed the question of her father's behaviors while the other is not questioned regarding the actions of her parents.

Is this because the liberal media is, in yet another way, supporting its preferred candidate?

Where Should the Choice Be Made?

Hillary Clinton: Christians In America Must Deny Their Faith In Christianity, Adhere To New Liberal Laws

Hillary Clinton said that Christians must deny their Faith through the enforcement of laws, by stating that the Christian belief in being pro-life, and anti-abortion, must change, and that this should be done through laws and “political will.”

If Christians must change Christian teachings in regards to abortion, then what Hilary Clinton is essentially saying is that Christians must deny their Faith. Hillary Clinton, speaking at the Women in the World Summit on April 23, made the statement:

"Far too many women are denied access to reproductive health care and safe childbirth, and laws don’t count for much if they’re not enforced. Rights have to exist in practice — not just on paper. Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will. And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed."

The statistics prove that MOST abortions are done as a method of birth control, not as a procedure to save the life of the mother.

NOBODY would deny a woman the right to refrain from bearing a child... however proponents of life would require that she make her choice in the drug store where she can purchase birth control rather than in the abortionist's office where the life of an innocent child is taken.

Discern the Modicum of Truth in the Sea of Lies

The Word of GOD cautions us against people who come to us with flowery speech, and tickle our fancy with glowing lies. The Word of GOD cautions us to turn away from such.

Our responsibility as voters is to discern the modicum of truth in the sea of lies, to hold on to truth.

The one with flowery speech will enslave us through policies that reduce our Constitution to a mere piece of paper, through laws that will rob us of our cherished freedoms, that will perhaps steal even our "life, liberty and ability to pursue happiness."

The one who bluntly states the truth will guide us back to the freedoms we have sacrificed at the altar of political correctness.

Weigh the candidates carefully and vote for the one who extols the things you, as a believer in CHRIST, honor.

Words to Ponder

“See that you do not refuse Him that speaks, For if they did not escape who refused him that spoke on earth; how much more shall we not escape, if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven?   Whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.” Hebrews 12:25, 26
