How Does Your Book Read?

Dietrich Bonhoeffer lived during the Nazi reign of terror in Germany.

Bonhoeffer watched the army of Hitler goose-step over Europe and he took his place among those who fought what he saw.

He had been visiting in the United States and was well-received. He was encouraged to remain in the country for his own safety but refused.

Soon after his return to Germany, he was imprisoned and hung. His courage ... his actively doing GOD'S will cost him his life.

But his resolute determination to stand for CHRIST in a godless environment allowed many to see what true faith in the SAVIOR is all about. His resolute determination to stand for JESUS gained eternal salvation for everyone who read the living epistle of his life.

What is the living book of your life saying in our world today?

In our world that is fraught with fear of strains of disease that are beyond medical treatment?

With anxiety about providing basic needs in a failing economy?

With worry over police brutality and community upheaval?

With dread of the next unprovoked terrorist attack?

Will you allow the living epistle of your life to clearly declare to all men: "GREATER IS HE WHO IS IN YOU than he who is in the world"?
