Not Because You're Weak

If you are doing nothing for the LORD, if you aren't endeavoring to learn more of HIM and to be more like HIM and to share the truth of HIS SALVATION with others, the enemy of your soul is probably leaving you alone.

Oh, yes, "THE RAIN FALLS ON THE JUST AND ON THE UNJUST; THE SUN SHINES ON THE JUST AND ON THE UNJUST," so everyone must encounter a certain amount of trouble, but the person who is an instrument in the hand of GOD is probably dealing with a bit more difficulty in his life than is the individual who is blithely skipping down the Road of Life without giving much thought to the truths of eternity. 

If you are among those who are facing the onslaught of the enemy of the HOLY ONE, if you are grappling with one burden after another, stop a moment and recognize that your distress is coming because you are doing something right, not because you are doing something wrong.

Stop to reflect upon the reality that your labor in the behalf of the KINGDOM of CHRIST has made you a fearsome warrior in the eyes of GOD'S ancient foe and his attacks against you are his attempt to render you ineffective in the ETERNAL STRUGGLE between good and evil.

Also remember that you do not wage this warfare alone--JESUS is with you through the struggle.

HE has promised that HE will never fail or forsake you.

HE has assured you that you are more than a conqueror.

HE has invited you to cast all your cares upon HIM so HE can carry them for you.

And stay strong in the fight, for your victory is sure.
