The Church

The church is not a hospital for the sinners nor a hotel for the saints. It is however, a training ground, boot-camp if you will, for those who have come to follow Jesus Christ.

You see, the Great Commission was not given to the church, but to you as an individual believer, to go share the Good News (Gospel) of Jesus Christ with all the world. That commission includes your next door neighbor.

The church is a gathering of believers for the purpose of preparing you, supporting you and encouraging you to share the Good News. Preaching is for sinners, teaching is for believers and it is the job of the church to equip the saints through teaching to reach the lost with the truth that sets them free.

We have got to stop trying to figure out how to get people in to the church building and figure out how to get believers (the preachers) out to the sinners.

Do you want to make a positive change in the direction of our country? If you do, become part of the outreach of the church that extends itself to help meet the needs of the lost and to present the message of CHRIST'S "unspeakable gift" to them.

It’s time to stop merely building earthly buildings and start being the earthly body of Jesus Christ.
Slow down long enough to recognize the needs of the lost and dying world around you . . . . and do something about those needs.

Slow down long enough to recognize the great need the lost and dying world has that can't be met in any way but through the sacrifice of JESUS--and give them the good news that JESUS SAVES.
