Revenge

Has someone hurt you? There are a thousand ways he may have accomplished the pain he inflicted upon you.

Perhaps he was a trusted business partner who somehow managed to manipulate the funds to his advantage and to your detriment.

Perhaps he was a "best friend forever" who outgrew you and moved on without explaining why.

Perhaps he was a suitor who made you feel valueless in spite of your love and support.

Perhaps he was a spouse who trampled on the vows you took together at the altar of the LORD.

No matter who hurt you or how he accomplished his callous contempt of you and your personhood, remember this truth:

THE BEST REVENGE IS TO LIVE A GOOD LIFE.

How is that accomplished?

By taking the broken pieces of your disappointment and placing them at the feet of JESUS. HE will make you whole again, and HE will open before you the good life you long to have in time -- and add to it the glorious life HE has prepared for you in eternity.
