Good morning...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've arrived at the New Year. Some of you welcomed it in with a celebration. Some of you welcomed it quietly at home. Some of you slept through its arrival. Some of you are just glad the old year is over and you are hoping for something better in the new.

Whatever your current thoughts may be, I pray you will not forget to factor JESUS prominently into your year ahead. Whatever your circumstances may be, whatever your relationships may appear to be, pray you allow JESUS to be LORD of your circumstances and of your relationship. I pray you can turn your circumstances and relationships over to HIM, thereby taking your hands off of them and allowing HIM to work in and through them.

If you can do that, HE will be better able to purge your life of the dross that is weighing you down and churning up your emotions. If you can do that, HE will be better able to touch your problems--and the people who cause them -- and thereby work in the problems and in the people in a way that your involvement cannot affect.

JESUS loves you and HE loves the people in your life. HE loves those who love you and help you and support you, and HE loves those whose behavior is tearing you down, for their behavior is destroying themselves more than it is negatively impacting you.

When you ask yourself the gnawing "WHY?" regarding the bad things that are in your life, remember this one truth -- WHAT THE ENEMY MEANS FOR EVIL, GOD CAN TURN AROUND FOR GOOD.

Does that mean the situations, the people who hurt you most will become blessings in your life? 

Not necessarily, because the LORD will never override a man's free will or counter the circumstances his poor decisions create, but HE will work in and through everything, everyone whose life touches yours and HE will bring you through it all to the glorious victory HE promises to those who trust HIM and place their lives at HIS feet.

IN ALL YOUR STRIVING: MAY YOU BE INSPIRED BY THOSE WHO HAVE GONE BEFORE YOU AND MAY YOU STRIVE TO BE AN INSPIRATION TO ALL THOSE WHO COME AFTER YOU.
