True Hope by Os Hillman
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
2020 was a year of change for so many. Many lost loved ones. Many lost businesses they spent years building. Many lost jobs. And some became homeless. While, at the same time, some prospered because of new opportunities that were created from the crises.
No matter where you fit into the story, your hope must be placed in the God who knows all things and knows your every need. Otherwise, your hope is cast on things that are futile.
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. – Proverbs 13:12
Many believers are discouraged by the outcome of the election. Be encouraged that no matter the outcome, God knows what took place and He has an uncanny way of making things right. Let us put our hope in his love and omnipotence to make all things work together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
God is calling His remnant to stand in the gap for our nation and our future. I encourage you to renew your hope in the Christ that brings life and purpose to all our lives.
May you focus on the real meaning of Christmas this year. And find hope in Jesus for your future.
God bless you.
